Reflections from Jen

Hello, again – and TGIF! We woke up to a snowy morning here in Fort Collins, Colorado. Personally, though I love the winter, I’m looking forward to spring, and especially to ELEMCON in May. And speaking of ELEMCON, I’m excited to announce that nominations for the Environment + Energy Leader 100 list (formerly EL75 and EMT75) are now open.

Coveted spots on the E+E 100 list are handed to the VPs, directors, managers and engineers who are driving their companies – and the environment, sustainability and energy management industry itself – forward.

The 100 will be toasted at a networking luncheon during the 4th Annual Environmental Leader & Energy Manager Conference (ELEMCON), taking placing May 13-15, 2019, at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. There is also a summit at the conference that is invite-only for past and present honorees – an exciting opportunity to network and learn with other industry leaders.

So now’s your chance. Whose light shines the brightest? Nominate an industry colleague who stands out as an innovator, someone who has helped drive a product, program, company or the industry as a whole. And we’re not looking only for C-suite nominations. Consider nominating managers and in-the-trenches workers, those folks working diligently behind the scenes and shaping the industry.

And, people: feel free to nominate yourself. If you’re shaking up the industry or your company with innovation, don’t be shy! Share the success of your bright ideas.

I can’t wait to see your nominations. Visit here for more details, and to nominate your person.

By the way, this is an annual list, not a lifetime achievement award; if a professional has won before, but has continued to push the boundaries, nominate them again!

One more cool thing: stay tuned for a Q&A on Monday with one of our keynote speakers, Jon Radtke, Water Sustainability Program Director & Chief Hydrogeologist, of Coca-Cola North America. He shares tips and tactics for reducing water usage and gives a sneak peek of what you’ll learn during his ELEMCON keynote.

Can’t wait to see you all again in May. Until then, stay in touch!
