WORKSHOP 1:
The Energy/Water Nexus – The Challenge of Sourcing Energy and Water

One of the most significant efforts of climate change is the potential for large-scale shifts in water availability, with many areas of the world expecting to see increasing water scarcity. Corporate water conservation and stewardship programs are increasingly focused on mitigating the impacts within their watersheds – both by using water more efficiently within their operations, and in investing in stewardship projects that are aimed at improving the resilience of natural ecosystems and environmental water supply.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to balance corporate water conservation and replenishment initiatives.
  • Which tools, processes and practices are being used to prioritize (and take action) in water-scarce regions.
  • How technology can be used to enable solutions in the world’s water challenges.

Organizational Leadership in the 21st-Century Corporation
