Eco Inventory Survey
What the Judges Said…
“The user-adjustable interface allows companies to develop, measure, and report KPIs to provide visibility within the company. The confidential algorithms and customer service approach are commendable.”
Gensuite, a software-as-a-service provider of cloud-based compliance and management applications, helps diverse companies worldwide with their energy and sustainability initiatives through holistic, cloud-based compliance and management software. The Eco Inventory Survey (EIS), part of the Gensuite Sustainability and Energy Management application suite, offers a central company-wide platform to compile and analyze site resource consumption, greenhouses gas emissions, costs, and other customizable sustainability metrics reported monthly, quarterly, or annually.
In conjunction with the full Sustainability and Energy Management suite, the Gensuite EIS enables users to follow through on their commitments to operating sustainable businesses. It provides visibility to the company’s overall resource consumption, continually tracks site-wide resource use, performs quick trend analyses, sends visual reports and charting, and offers automated energy use updates for continuous monitoring and improvement.
Gensuite’s Sustainability and Energy Management program helps companies establish a baseline of energy and resource use by compiling a company’s greenhouse gas and carbon footprint to set overall sustainability goals, track resource and conservation projects, and validate environmental impact reduction goals.
The Eco Inventory Survey sets up custom parameters for site reporting and to measure the quality of sustainability program operations with site-surveying options. Users can collect qualitative data such as key performance indicators and overall site feedback. Gensuite says they recently updated the EIS through a redesign of all applications. This includes an updated interface with more intuitive reporting options and displays, faster loading times, and modern desktop-to-mobile compatibility.
The EIS features include site utility invoicing system integrations to streamline data collection, custom reporting with goal management to track site progress with aligned business goals, and flexible configurations to meet specific business needs.
The Gensuite EIS is currently deployed at more than 600 sites globally at over 90 different companies, reporting more than 200 unique parameters such as fuel usage, refrigerants, and units produced. The Sustainability and Energy Management applications have allowed subscribing companies to complete over 2,100 projects with an identified cost savings of over $81 million. Realized reductions include a 29% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions and a 13.5% reduction in water consumption.
