The global LED lighting market is likely to reach $70.24 billion in the next five years but key limitations remain, according to a recent report.
Multinational clothing retail company, H&M, and US-based LED lighting manufacturer, Cree, have become the latest members of EP100, a one-year-old global, collaborative initiative of influential businesses that have pledged to double their energy efficiency.
Cree has introduced the XG-E an XP-E High Efficiency Photo Red LEDs for horticultural uses. The LEDs deliver as much as 21 percent higher output than previous generations of the products. Cree has recalled several products, according to Facility Executive. The site says that the lamps replace two-pin outdoor T8 fluorescent tubes.
