Mondelez International Signs VPPA for 65 MW from Texas Solar Farm

Mondelez International signed a virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with Enel Green Power North America for a 65-MW portion of the renewable company’s Roadrunner solar farm in Texas. The snack-maker says this deal will slash 80,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Starbucks Signs Illinois Wind Energy Deal with Constellation

Starbucks signed a long-term agreement with energy provider Constellation to power more than 340 Illinois stores from Enel Green Power North America, Inc.’s HillTopper wind project. Constellation has a separate deal with Enel to purchase 14 megawatts of energy from the wind farm in Logan County, Illinois.
